Arthroscopy is Fun

The three surgical ports have healed nicely. I think the average person would be hard pressed to guess that I had knee surgery three weeks ago, at least from a purely external, superficial view. There is actually a fair amount of scar tissue underneath the incisions. One is about the size of a quarter and someone pronounced. The other two are smaller, but can also be felt beneath the surface. The physical therapists tell me that I can actually help to reduce the scar tissue by massaging them daily. I’ve got to admit, doing that hurts like hell.
